The first three years in business, with no prior development, construction or real estate experience, Hutton developed 178 Dollar Generals in three years. How did that happen? It’s simple, there were no thoughts of ceilings, or what I don’t know; instead, it was purely, I can do this!!! I knew I had a good understanding of the Dollar General culture, so drive, determination and teaming with the Dollar General Real Estate team then executing, allowed more opportunity. The Goal was to be the leader in the number of projects delivered each year, not missing a date, no change orders, speed of delivery and best price. That’s how it happened. Lead the pack in each category.
